Got questions? Here are answers to the ones we hear most.
We specialize in public university admissions in Germany and Italy. Most consultants push expensive private universities in the US and UK. We focus on tuition-free and low-cost options, and we help you secure scholarships that cover living expenses too.
Yes. Most public universities in Germany charge zero tuition fees for international students. You pay only a semester contribution of roughly €100–350, which often includes a public transport pass. The exception is the state of Baden-Württemberg, where non-EU students pay approximately €1,500 per semester.
Italy offers regional scholarships through bodies like DSU (Tuscany) and ERSU (Sicily and other regions). These can cover full tuition, free accommodation, free meals at university canteens, and a monthly stipend. The Italian government also offers MAECI scholarships for international students. Many individual universities offer merit-based awards too.
For English-taught Master's programs in Germany and Italy, you do not need to know the local language at the time of admission. However, learning basic German or Italian helps with daily life, part-time work, and long-term career prospects. We can guide you on language requirements for your specific program.
The APS (Akademische Prüfstelle) certificate is mandatory for Indian students applying for a German student visa. It verifies the authenticity of your academic documents. We guide you through the APS application process as part of our Germany pathway.
From your first counselling session to receiving an admission letter, the process typically takes 3–6 months depending on the country, intake, and your document readiness. We recommend starting at least 8–10 months before your target intake.
To begin, you need your 10th and 12th mark sheets, bachelor's degree and transcripts (for Master's applicants), passport, resume, and any language test scores (IELTS, TOEFL, TestDaF). We provide a complete checklist during your free counselling session.
Uniorbit focuses on admission and scholarship guidance. If you need financing support, we can connect you with partner loan providers and help you understand timelines alongside your application plan.
Your first counselling session is free. We explain our service packages and fees transparently during that session. There are no hidden charges.
Yes. In Germany, international students can work 140 full days or 280 half days per year. In Italy, students can work up to 20 hours per week during the academic term. Part-time work helps cover living expenses.
